My journey: professional experience and personal insight

I am a Mental Health First Aider, a recovering alcoholic, a proud gay man, and someone with lived experience of PTSD. My professional life as a support worker, and my ongoing training to become a paramedic, combine with these personal experiences to give me a unique understanding of life's complexities.

A safe space for everyone

My friends know me as the "go-to person"—someone who listens without judgement, offers honest support, and genuinely cares. This website is an extension of that. Whether you're struggling with mental health, addiction, exploring your LGBTQ+ identity, supporting someone you love, or simply need a safe place to talk, you are welcome here.

Our mission: to be heard, valued, and never alone

My mission is to create a compassionate, inclusive community where everyone feels heard, valued, and never alone. If sharing my journey helps just one person find hope, then this website has achieved exactly what it was created to do. Everyone deserves to be heard.
